Unable to reactivate Skype Credit - There was an issue processing credit reactivation, please try again later.

I'm unable to reactivate my $60 Skype Credits - getting an error "There was an issue processing credit reactivation, please try again later."

Tried adding billing address but also getting an error "Sorry, we’re unable to process the request at this moment. Try again later".

Tried accessing admin.teams.microsoft.com to open support case based on this thread but I'm also facing an issue "You don't have access to the Teams admin center."

I still have over $60 in my Skype account and really would like to use it; can you please help me reactivate it?

Thanks.

Deactivated Skype Credit can be reactivated using this reactivation site:

    https://calling.web.skype.com/account/credit_reactivation

Just be sure to sign in to this site with exactly the same account as you have used with Skype. Be aware that you cannot sign in to this site with your business account.

The error indicates that the Skype Credit is currently inactive and the automatic reactivation flow is failing, most likely due to an account or billing issue that cannot be resolved self‑service.

    Based on the available guidance:

    1. Verify the correct Skype/Microsoft account
      • Sign in to the Skype web experience at https://calling.web.skype.com/.
      • Confirm that this account actually holds the $60 balance. If the page shows “You don't have any paid product right now,” either:
        • The credit is associated with a different Skype account, or
        • The credit has gone inactive because it was not used for more than 180 days.
      • To confirm the correct account, compare the Skype Name on the profile page with the Skype Name mentioned in the email about expiring credit: https://secure.skype.com/portal/profile.
    2. Retry credit reactivation from the dedicated page
      • Use the official reactivation entry point: https://secure.skype.com/portal/settings/credit/reactivate.
      • Sign in with the same account confirmed in step 1.
      • If using iPhone or iPad and the Reactivate Credit option is missing, clear Safari history and cookies on the device and sign in again, then retry.
      • Reactivation can take up to 15 minutes; an email is sent when it completes.
    3. Ensure billing details are complete
      • If the account has been temporarily blocked due to payment issues, paid services (including Skype Credit use) may be unavailable until billing information is corrected.
      • When prompted, add or update the billing address and required payment details, then retry the reactivation page.
    4. If reactivation still fails
      • The Teams admin center is not required for consumer Skype credit issues and is not available for non‑admin accounts, which explains the “You don't have access to the Teams admin center” message.
      • When the reactivation page and billing address update both fail with “unable to process the request,” the remaining path is to contact Microsoft support (consumer billing/Skype support) so they can review the account and credit status server‑side and either:
        • Manually reactivate the credit, or
        • Advise on refund/compensation options based on their policies.

Once the credit is active again, the Skype Dial Pad can be used either via the web at https://calling.web.skype.com/ or by signing into Microsoft Teams Free, provided there is an active subscription, Skype number, or active Skype Credit on the account.
