Reinstalling Windows 11 on a device that ran windows 11 with no issue. Now getting “This PC can’t run Windows 11” during installation.

I used to have Windows 11 and Linux running on separate drives. I wiped everything to do a clean reinstall of just windows 11 as the sole operating system. Now I’m getting an error that “This PC can’t run Windows 11” and it doesn’t meet the minimum requirements even though it was running windows 11 prior to the wipe and I haven’t changed the hardware. I am using the installation USB provided when I purchased Windows 11 to reinstall. My computer meets all minimum requirements.

Looked up some troubleshooting steps online and insure that in BIOS the OS type is set to Windows UEFI mode and secure boot mode is standard. CSM is disabled. TPM 2.0 is enabled. I’ve tried swapping out different SSDs to see if that may be a problem. It isn’t. I cannot install whatever PC health check tool might be suggested because everything is wiped and just boots to BIOS. Are there any other steps I can take?

Any help getting Windows 11 working again on a computer it was already working on would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi ,

If it is a laptop or desktop, if possible, could you provide the laptop model or your desktop configuration?

    Thanks
