If Secure Boot is indicated as not enabled, you may be able to enable that in BIOS in the Security section, however, if Windows 10 is installed in Legacy BIOS Mode, if you enable Secure Boot, then Windows 10 will not boot up.

I need to check what method was used to install Windows 10 on your PC, click your Start Button, then just type msinfo and press Enter, please provide a screenshot of the resulting System Information window.

Secure boot is also one of primary requirements, make sure it is enabled to perform upgrade.

To upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11, Secure Boot must be supported by the device firmware (UEFI) and ideally enabled.

    Follow these steps:

    1. Confirm Windows 11 eligibility
      • Make sure the device meets Windows 11 hardware requirements and is on a supported Windows 10 version. See the requirements in Can I upgrade to Windows 11?.
      • Optionally run the PC Health Check app from that page to confirm Windows 11 compatibility.
    2. Check Secure Boot state in Windows
      1. Press Windows + R, type msinfo32, press Enter.
      2. In System Information, find Secure Boot State.
        • If it shows On, Secure Boot is already enabled.
        • If it shows Off, Secure Boot is supported but disabled.
        • If it shows Unsupported, the motherboard/firmware does not support Secure Boot and the device will not meet Windows 11 requirements.
    3. If Secure Boot is Off (but supported)
      • The PC must be using UEFI firmware and the system disk must be GPT-partitioned. If the device was installed in Legacy/MBR mode, it may need conversion before enabling Secure Boot.
      • To enable Secure Boot, restart the PC and enter firmware setup (UEFI/BIOS). The exact key (F2, Del, Esc, etc.) and menu names differ by manufacturer.
      • In firmware settings, switch the boot mode to UEFI (disable Legacy/CSM if present), then enable Secure Boot.
      • Save changes and reboot into Windows, then re-check Secure Boot State in msinfo32.
    4. If Secure Boot cannot be enabled
    5. Retry the Windows 11 upgrade
      • After Secure Boot is enabled and msinfo32 shows Secure Boot State: On, go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and select Check for updates, or use the Windows 11 upgrade options described in Can I upgrade to Windows 11?.

If Secure Boot is truly unsupported by the hardware/firmware, the device will not meet the Windows 11 requirements and cannot be upgraded in a supported way.
