    Hi, Jan

It sounds more like an account-side rollout/provisioning issue than a normal Mac setting problem, especially since OneNote on the web also does not show it. Copilot is available in OneNote for Windows, Mac, and iPad, but OneNote for the web is still being rolled out, so web availability may not be immediate for every account.

Here are some suggestions you can try:

Check the Microsoft account birthdate/age setting. AI features in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote can be disabled if the account does not meet the regional age requirement, even when the subscription is valid.

Test from microsoft365.com > Notebooks / Copilot Notebooks, not only the normal OneNote notebook list. Copilot Notebooks is listed as available for Personal, Family, and Premium subscribers, and it may appear separately from regular OneNote notebooks.

If it still fails, I would push Microsoft support to check the account entitlement directly, not repeat app troubleshooting. Ask them to verify the OneNote Copilot service flag/provisioning for the exact Microsoft account and include screenshots showing Word says “Microsoft 365 Premium” while OneNote shows “Copilot Pro.” If they cannot enable it, ask for billing/refund escalation because the feature is not being delivered on that account.
