    Hi Sandra Headrick

From your post, I understand how frustrating it is to keep receiving unwanted emails.

Just to tailor this better for you:

    • Are these emails all from different senders each time, or do you notice repeated domains (for example, same ending like .xyz, .ru, etc.)?

In the meantime, please try the following:

1, Block the sender or entire domain

This is the most reliable way to stop repeated spam from the same source.

    • Right‑click one of the emails
    • Select “Block” > “Block Sender”

    Or manually add domains:

    • Go to “Home” > “Block” > “Junk E‑mail Options”
    • Open “Blocked Senders” tab
    • Add entries like:
      • specific email: spam@example.com
      • or entire domain: @example.com

Once added, Outlook will always send those messages to Junk automatically

2, Block emails by language / alphabet

Since you mentioned foreign-language spam, Outlook has a built‑in option for this:

    • Go to “Home” > “Block” > “Junk E‑mail Options”
    • Open the “International” tab
    • Click “Blocked Encodings List”
    • Select the languages/encodings you don’t want

This allows you to filter out messages written in unfamiliar character sets

    3, Block by country/region domains

If the emails are coming from certain regions:

    • In the same “International” tab
    • Click “Blocked Top‑Level Domain List”
    • Check countries you want to block (e.g., RU, CN, etc.)

This blocks emails based on their domain endings

4, Adjust Junk filter level (quick improvement)

    • Go to “Home” > “Block” > “Junk E‑mail Options” > “Options” tab
    • Try setting it to “High”

This increases how aggressively Outlook filters spam.

I truly hope this helps. Please feel free to let me know how it goes and thank you for your understanding.
