Hi there,

In recent updates there is a new icon floating bottom right corner when opening excel, there is no option to turn it off.

I've tried the privacy settings - toggle off optional connected experience as well, nothing worked.

And I do not have a Files - Options - Copilot where many said they can turn this off.

This little icon is extremely annoying and especially when docked(easily ignored and misclicked), please can anyone tell me how to remove this one.

Also MS please stop shoving this Copilot stuff without a button to turn off, previously there was the right-click floating icon, the drop-down, the long Copilot ribbon, and now this. If people love Copliot then they will even pay to use it, if not then it is just causing an opposite effect.

Thanks!

    Dear @WhyCopilot,

From your description and screenshot, I understand that you’re seeing a floating Copilot button in the bottom-right corner when you open Excel. You’d like to remove or turn it off, but there is no setting to do it.

The floating Copilot button is by design as a quick way to access Copilot while working in the worksheet.
