A collaborative workspace app in Microsoft 365 designed to help teams co-create, stay organized, and work together in real time across apps and devices.
Regarding your issue, I completely understand how the volume of emails can become overwhelming, especially when multiple mentions or task assignments are involved.
At the moment, Microsoft Loop does not include an option to turn off or fine-tune email notifications. Notifications such as @mentions and task assignments are sent automatically, and there isn’t currently a setting within Loop to adjust this behavior.
If this is affecting your users’ experience, and you would like to have a feature that allows you to turn Loop notification on and off, as Microsoft user I highly suggest you submitting your idea via the Ideas · Community platform. This allows others to see and upvote your suggestion and helps our product development team better understand user needs and prioritize improvements. Feedback is the best way to push for a more integrated, long‑term improvement for Loop, the more voices they hear, the greater the chance we’ll see enhancements in future updates.
Or submit via Loop, select the settings (gear) icon, go to Help & Feedback > Give feedback
