    Dear @Eric Ambrister,

Thanks for reaching out. Based on what you described, it sounds like you started/received Microsoft Entra ID Free (not Entra ID P1/P2 trial). Entra ID Free doesn’t send “credentials” to Outlook, and it’s typically visible only in the admin portals (Microsoft 365 admin center / Entra admin center), not in mailbox email.

Please refer to this document: Microsoft Entra ID Free - Microsoft Cost Management | Microsoft Learn

    • Passwords/credentials aren’t emailed for admin/security reasons; you sign in with the account you created/used during signup (or reset the password if needed). Please refer to this document: Reset passwords - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn
    • Entra ID Free is a no-cost subscription that is added automatically and appears in admin billing/subscription lists; it is not something you “receive” via Outlook email.

Where to find the Entra ID Free subscription

Please sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center and check:

    1. Billing > Your products (or Subscriptions in Simplified view) to see your subscriptions list.
    2. Look for Microsoft Entra ID Free in the list.

(You can also see it in the Microsoft Entra admin center / Azure portal under billing subscriptions, per Microsoft’s guidance.)

Please refer to this document: What Microsoft business subscriptions do I have? - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn
If your question is “Is it assigned to a user?”

License assignment (when applicable) is done in the Microsoft 365 admin center:

Note: Entra ID Free is tenant-level and is not typically “assigned” like paid per-user licenses; the admin portal is the correct place to verify what’s available in your tenant.

If you need help at any point, or if you have any questions during the process, please feel free to reach out, I’m always here and happy to assist. Thank you again for your understanding and patience.

The order ID provided can't be looked up directly in subscriptions from the available information. When an order or subscription can't be found, the most common causes are:

    1. Signed in with the wrong account
      • Visual Studio and Microsoft 365 subscriptions are tied to a specific sign-in ID.
      • If the trial was started with a work/school account but Outlook is opened with a personal account (or vice versa), the order and subscription won't appear.
      • Sign out and sign back in using any other Microsoft IDs that might have been used when starting the Entra trial.
    2. No valid subscription linked to the tenant
      • Access to Microsoft Entra and Azure requires a valid subscription linked to the Entra tenant.
      • If no subscription exists or isn't associated with the directory, the Entra trial may not show under the current account.
    3. No subscription permissions
      • To see or manage subscriptions, the signed-in account must have appropriate permissions (typically at least Contributor/Owner on the subscription).

    To proceed:

    1. Verify sign-in account
      • In Outlook and in the Microsoft 365/Entra portals, confirm the email/ID in use.
      • Try signing in with the account used when starting the Entra trial.
    2. Check for subscription association
      • If seeing “No subscriptions found” when accessing Entra/Azure, a valid subscription might not be linked to the tenant. In that case, a Microsoft Entra account or Azure subscription must be activated and associated with the tenant.

If the order still cannot be found after confirming the correct account and subscription, contact Microsoft Support or billing support so they can look up the order ID directly and verify the trial and credentials.
