    Hi @Eric Ambrister

    I hope you’re having a great day.

I understand you signed up for a free Microsoft Entra trial, received the setup email on your Outlook (personal) address, but after a few days you’re now seeing that the username is “not found.”

When a free Entra trial is created, Microsoft may send setup/confirmation emails to your personal Outlook address, but the actual sign-in account for the new Entra tenant is often created as a separate “work/school” admin identity (commonly in the format …@<tenant>.onmicrosoft.com</tenant>).
So, you may have received the setup email in Outlook, but the correct username to sign in could be the onmicrosoft.com admin account created during the trial provisioning process.

1/ Please check the mailbox of your personal Outlook account (the one that received the setup email) and search for the confirmation/welcome email from Microsoft.

    Try searching with keywords like:

    • onmicrosoft.com
    • “Microsoft Entra”
    • “Your trial is ready” / “Welcome”

2/ In that email, look for details such as:

    • Tenant/Organization name
    • Default domain like <something>.onmicrosoft.com</something>
    • The admin username (UPN) used to sign in (often contains onmicrosoft.com

3/ Once you locate the admin username, try signing in here:

4/ If sign-in still fails, try an InPrivate/Incognito browser session to avoid cached sign-in or tenant-routing issues.

Please contact Support if you need any further assistance with the payment issue

Once you’re able to sign in successfully, if you require further guidance or need additional assistance related to the trial subscription, billing, or charges, I recommend contacting the Microsoft Billing Support team. Once you reach out, a live agent will follow up with you via call or email to assist further.

To proceed, please follow the steps below:

    • Sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center with your Microsoft administrator account.
    • On right bottom corner click on "Help & support"
    • User's image
    • After that choose the "Contact support".
    • User's image
    • Describe your issue and request to speak with a live agent. You may be offered options for chat or call depending on your region and support availability.

As community moderators, we appreciate your understanding that we do not have access to the administrative tools or permissions required to investigate or modify these configurations. We also do not have the capability to initiate remote sessions for direct assistance. Our role is to guide users to the appropriate resources and support channels.

I hope this information is helpful. Should you have any further questions or need additional assistance, feel free to reach out.
