In the Windows Services console, the services list is already sorted alphabetically by default by the Name column. If it is not appearing that way, it can be re-sorted with a single click:
- Press Windows + R, type
services.msc, and press Enter. - In the Services window, locate the column header labeled Name at the top of the list.
- Click once on the Name column header to sort the services alphabetically (A→Z).
- Click the Name header again to reverse the order (Z→A) if needed.
If the list appears grouped or out of order, clicking the Name header will override that and restore a simple alphabetical list by service name.
