Hi experts!

I am not able to export videos from clipchamp but this is not the first time i am exporting. I have exported the videos before also without any interruption.

Video is taking full time to export, but getting stuck while final exporting, I have attached the image also. User's image

Can you tell me why this is happening and how can I fix it? Also I am using my organizations account.

Thanks!

nidhi

The issue typically occurs when Clipchamp’s export process is blocked by browser, hardware, or media-file problems, especially for longer videos.

    Try these steps in order:

    1. If using the Clipchamp desktop app for Windows
    2. If using Clipchamp in a browser (Chrome or Edge)
      • Keep the Clipchamp tab active while exporting; avoid switching to other tabs or windows.
      • Update the browser to the latest version.
      • Clear browser cache (choose All time and Cached images and files), then restart the browser. Ensure original media files are still available so they can be relinked if needed.
      • Close other tabs/windows to free memory.
      • Avoid Incognito/InPrivate mode.
      • Temporarily disable browser extensions and try the export again.
    3. Optimize the computer and Clipchamp settings
      • Close other applications while exporting.
      • In Clipchamp (personal version), turn off Hardware Acceleration under Settings > Export and retry.
      • Update graphics card drivers (Intel, NVIDIA, AMD) and install any available OS updates. On older Windows versions, upgrade to Windows 11 if supported.
    4. Check for project- or file-specific issues
      • Very long videos (over ~10 minutes) or corrupted input files can cause export to hang.
      • If possible, try the same project on a different computer with more memory or a different GPU, bringing all original media files with it.
      • Compress large source videos and re-add them as MP4 files, or convert source clips to new MP4 files using a tool like Handbrake, then replace them in the project.
      • Split a long project into several shorter copies:
        • From the Clipchamp homepage, duplicate the project 2–3 times.
        • In each copy, remove different sections so each project contains only part of the timeline.
        • Export each segment. If one segment still fails, convert or replace media files used in that section.
    5. If exports still fail
      • For personal Clipchamp accounts, contact Clipchamp support and share the project and media so they can analyze the failure.
      • For work/school accounts, use the work-account support options described in the Clipchamp support article.
