Able to log into GMX webmail on any browser but will not display email. Broken scripts?

Brave, Edge, Chrome, or Firefox. Able to log into GMX webmail, most of the time. When I can't it goes to the support page even though credentials are correct. When it does log in the browser will not display emails and will time out prompting to refresh or exit. Duckduckgo browser works flawlessly.

I have cleared cache, deleted data (all time), flushed the DNS, changed DNS server (ie: opendns or google) left it on default. Turned off shields, don't have any ad-ons like adblocker installed.

Mobile app works on my samsung s22 and webmail works on all browser on my Asus laptop, just not on my desktop. My desktop is current on latest updates (25H2) with March out of band update that fixed broken web log ins from 10 days earlier.

I am at a loss as how to fix this problem. I haven't uninstalled the KB out of band fix. I thought this was supposed to fix the problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Welcome Shawn Proctor,

I understand how frustrating it can be when GMX Webmail works on your Samsung phone, your Asus laptop, and even DuckDuckGo Browser on the affected desktop, the issue appears to be specific to the Windows environment on that desktop rather than your GMX account itself.

    Could you please confirm:

    • Does the issue occur when using an InPrivate/Incognito window in Edge or Chrome?
    • Are you using any third-party security software, web filtering, VPN, or firewall software on the desktop (Norton, Bitdefender, ESET, Malwarebytes, etc.)?

In the meantime, please try these quick checks:

Option 1: Create a new Windows local user account

Sometimes browser and web rendering issues are caused by a corrupted Windows user profile.

    • Open Settings > Accounts > Other users
    • Select Add account
    • Create a temporary local account
    • Sign in to that account and test GMX Webmail

Option 2: Disable hardware acceleration in Edge

    • Open Edge
    • Go to Settings > System and performance
    • Turn off Use graphics acceleration when available
    • Restart Edge and test again

Option 3: Verify system file integrity

    • Open Command Prompt (Admin) and run:
      • DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
      • sfc /scannow
      • After both commands complete, restart the PC and test GMX again.

I hope this helps. Please let me know the results of the above tests, and I will do my best to assist further.
