    Hi Lori Klobe,

Since the issue appears to be limited to a specific utility payment website, it may help to test whether the website is working correctly in a fresh browsing session. Try opening an InPrivate window in Microsoft Edge (Ctrl + Shift + N) and then access the payment site again. This can help rule out cached website data or browser extensions that may be interfering with the sign-in or payment process.

If the website still does not load properly, you may also want to try accessing it from a different browser or device to determine whether the issue is specific to the current browser environment.

If the problem persists, the utility provider's support team may be able to confirm any browser or website requirements needed to complete the payment process.

I hope this helps point you in the right direction. Let me know if you need further assistance, feel free to ask me by clicking "Add Comment" or "Add Answer" if you cannot add comment so your response will be visible. Thanks for your effort.

If the payment site is failing, deleting cookies in Edge is a reasonable first step. Blocking or disabling cookies can prevent payment pages from working correctly.

Use these steps in Microsoft Edge:

    1. Open Edge.
    2. Select Settings and more in the upper-right corner.
    3. Go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services.
    4. Select Cookies.
    5. To remove stored cookies, select See all cookies and site data and delete the cookies for the problem site, or clear all cookies.
    6. Make sure Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended) is turned on.
    7. If the site still does not work, turn off Block third-party cookies.

    Important:

    • Blocking all cookies may stop some pages, including payment pages, from displaying or signing in correctly.
    • If a site specifically requires cookies, disabling cookies is likely the opposite of what is needed.

If only one site is affected, Edge also allows deleting cookies for that specific site instead of all sites.

The provided information does not include steps for deleting or managing Java in Edge on Windows 10.
