How to keep MS Defender from turning off on Google Pixel 8a after adding Goodle Advance Protection

I recently allowed Google Advance Protection on my Pixwl 8a. I have been receiving notificaitons that Microsoft Defender Web Protection has been turned off. When I turn on the Web Protection, it states "navigating to permission settings." On the Accessibility page under downloaded Apps it shows Link to Windows as OFF and Microsoft Defender Accessibility Service as OFF. If I select Microsoft Defender Accessibility Service to turn it on, the following message appears "Restricted by Advanced Protection" and gives me an option for Settings and OK. Pressing OK simply maintains the same issue. Selecting Settings takes me to Advanced Protection page. I don't see any options to allow Microsoft Defender accessibility.
I have followd steps such as checking battery, uninstalling and reinstalling and restarting the phone. Please advise next steps.
