issue in login my MS account

If this is a personal Microsoft account such as Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live, or MSN, use the Sign-in Helper first. It checks the account and tells what to do next.

If the password is forgotten or no longer works:

1. Open Recover your account.
2. Enter the email address, phone number, or Skype name used to sign in.
3. Choose where to receive the security code.
4. Enter the code.
5. Set a new password.

If the username is not recognized:

• Check that the email address is typed correctly, including the correct domain such as .com or .co.uk.
• If another alias or phone number is on the account, try that instead.
• If the message says “We couldn't find an account with that username”, use the Sign-in Helper.

If verification codes are the problem, use the verification code troubleshooting steps.

If this is a work or school account, go to the My Account portal or use Work or school password reset. If self-service reset is not allowed, contact the IT admin.

If sign-in still fails, use Contact Microsoft Support. Support agents cannot send password reset links or change account details.
