When I have an active Teams meeting, I want the participants to be able to hear my phone conversation. I put my phone on speaker, but the Teams participants cannot hear the responses at the other end of my phone call.

This feature used to work fine, but it stopped working at least 1 year ago.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S23

    Thank you Heimerdinger,

    1. The Teams meeting is running on my laptop with it's sound system which works fine.
    2. I'm not sure where the laptop mic is, but I moved the phone to several location around the laptop with high phone speaker volume.
    3. Built-in microphone on laptop
    4. Yes, participants can hear my voice clearly but not the person speaking at the other end of the phone call.
    5. Yes, I had the same problem with my desktop and now with my laptop. It's been over a year since I was able to carry conversations without problems.
    6. I haven't tried to play music, but the participants cannot hear the phone ringing when I start the call.

    Hi @Kenneth Boyajian

Thank you for explaining the issue.

To help me better understand your setup, could you please confirm the following?

    1. Are you joining the Teams meeting and making the phone call on the same Samsung Galaxy S23, or is the Teams meeting running on another device, such as a computer?
    2. If the meeting is running on another device, did you place the phone close to that device’s microphone so the meeting participants could hear the phone conversation?
    3. Are you using the built-in microphone, a wired headset, or a Bluetooth device for the Teams meeting?
    4. Can the participants hear your voice clearly but not the person speaking at the other end of the phone call?
    5. If possible, have you tested the same setup with another phone or device?
    6. If you play music or a video near the Teams microphone, can the participants hear that audio?

If I have misunderstood any part, feel free to clarify. I want to make sure I fully understand your setup so I can provide the most accurate guidance.

Thank you again for your time and understanding. I really appreciate your patience, and I’m here to help. Looking forward to your response.
