I purchased my HP Omnibook laptop in a Best Buy store three days ago that is eligible for the ultimate college bundle promotion. I set up the laptop and connected it to the internet but haven't received any verification notification over the past three days. When does the email or pop-up notification usually come after the new laptop is set up and connected to the internet? Is there any other way I can verify my email with Microsoft to redeem the ultimate college bundle promotion?

    Hi @Avery Mcintyre

I understand the concern, especially since the laptop was advertised as eligible. Microsoft’s process first sends a student-verification prompt either on the new PC or to the Microsoft account email registered during setup. The redemption email is then sent within about three days after verification is completed, not necessarily within three days of purchasing or setting up the laptop.

Please check all folders of the personal Microsoft account used during Windows setup and confirm that your exact HP OmniBook SKU appears in the Best Buy student promotion. If the verification prompt still does not appear, contact WindowsStudentOffer@microsoft.com with your purchase receipt, model/SKU, serial number, and Microsoft account email so the offer team can review the eligibility
