I am in a family account and I am trying to redeem a gift card for Minecraft, my Microsoft account region is set to United States and the card was bought in United States too, when I try to redeem the code it gives this error "This code can't be redeemed. It was purchased in a different region from your account".

    Welcome Alexander Pirumyan,

I understand how frustrating this is, especially when both your Microsoft account and the gift card appear to be set to the United States.

Before suggesting further troubleshooting, I would like to confirm a few details:

    1. Is this a Minecraft gift card/code or a Microsoft/Xbox gift card?
    2. Are you currently located in the United States and redeeming the code from within the U.S.?
    3. Have you ever changed your Microsoft account country/region in the past?

In the meantime, please try these checks:

    1. Verify your Microsoft account country/region
    2. Check your device region
      • Open Settings > Time & language > Language & region
      • Make sure Country or region is set to United States
      • Restart the device after making any changes.
    3. Redeem the code directly through the Microsoft redemption page
