Trying to redeem a gift card and it tells me that I am in a different region, but I am not in a different region

I am in a family account and I am trying to redeem a gift card for Minecraft, my Microsoft account region is set to United States and the card was bought in United States too, when I try to redeem the code it gives this error "This code can't be redeemed. It was purchased in a different region from your account".

Are you currently located in the United States and redeeming the code from within the U.S.?
Have you ever changed your Microsoft account country/region in the past?

Verify your Microsoft account country/region
- Go to Microsoft account settings: https://account.microsoft.com/profile
- Confirm that Country/Region is set to United States.
Check your device region
