A family of Microsoft word processing software products for creating web, email, and print documents.
The space on the right is typically the markup area for comments or tracked changes. To remove it for printing:
- Go to Review.
- In Tracking, change the display to No Markup.
To stop comments and tracked changes from printing:
- Go to File > Print.
- Under Settings, clear Print Markup.
If the document still reserves space for markup, remove the markup itself:
- Go to Review.
- Use Accept All Changes and Stop Tracking.
- Delete comments in the document.
This removes the right-side markup area so the page can print at normal width.
