Hello, I have a file shared by X people who are in the shared file, but I don't need to see it anymore, I have tried to delete it in every way so as not to see it (not delete it from the person who shared it with me, but I don't want to see it in my shared files) the weird thing that everything I have as shared files appear as if they were shared all the same day and it is not like that...

how can I not have it shared with him anymore, since I am not interested in it

    Hi Martin Josie

First, please refer to the AI answer below, as it already covers the main solution.

I’d like to add some details based on my testing environment, along with screenshots for reference:

-If you want to remove the item from the Shared list, you can use Hide from Shared, as mentioned in the AI answer. Please note that this only removes the item from your Shared view. It does not remove your access to the file or change the sharing permissions set by the owner.

-If you previously used Add shortcut to My files, you can go to My files, select the shortcut, and choose Delete. In my testing, this removes the shortcut and moves it to the Recycle bin, while the original shared file remains available in Shared.

Regarding the point that all your shared files appear to have the same sharing date, could you provide a screenshot showing this, or explain a little more about where and how the date is displayed? This would help me better understand the behavior.

    Best regards,

To stop seeing a file or folder that was shared with an account, use the Shared view in OneDrive on the web and remove it from that list.

    1. Open OneDrive on the web.
    2. In the left navigation, select Shared.
    3. Select the file or folder that is no longer needed.
    4. Choose Hide from Shared.

    Important details:

    • The Shared view is not a separate folder, so items cannot be moved out of it into Files.
    • Hide from Shared removes the item from the visible Shared list only.
    • Access is not revoked by hiding it. If the link is used again, the item can reappear in Shared.
    • Only one file or folder can be removed from the Shared list at a time.

If the goal is to stop access entirely, that must be changed by the file owner. If the account owns the file, sharing can be stopped from:

    1. Select the file or folder.
    2. Open Details or Information.
    3. Select Manage access.
    4. Remove the sharing link, stop sharing, or remove direct access for specific people.

For a shared folder that was added as a shortcut to My files, use Remove shortcut from My files instead. That removes the shortcut from OneDrive and synced computers, but the folder remains available in Shared if access still exists.

About the same shared date showing on multiple items: the provided documentation does not explain that behavior.
