Install Dragon Copilot (radiologists) - overview

Dragon Copilot (radiologists) is Microsoft’s latest AI innovation for radiology, designed to improve efficiency and accuracy across the imaging workflow. Using AI capabilities integrated with PowerScribe One, it combines generative, multimodal, and agentic AI to help radiologists work faster and smarter.

To set up Dragon Copilot (radiologists), the following steps are required:

1. Purchase a Dragon Copilot (radiologists) license in Microsoft 365 admin center.
2. Verify that the license is available in your Microsoft 365 tenant.
3. In Dragon admin center, create an environment and provision Dragon Copilot (radiologists).
4. Confirm that your system meets all the requirements.
5. Configure Dragon Copilot in Microsoft Azure.
6. Your Microsoft project team installs the Dragon Copilot connector on your PowerScribe One app server.
7. Over the course of 5 days, data is hydrated in the cloud environment.
8. Install Dragon Copilot on your workstations.

Prerequisites

Software and hardware requirements

Make sure your system meets the PowerScribe One requirements. For more information, see the System Technical Specifications for PowerScribe One.

PowerScribe One app server requirements

• PowerScribe One 2023.1 SP3 Patch 5 or higher
• .NET SDK version 8
• A dedicated SQL user with read access

Client workstation requirements

• .NET Desktop Runtime version 9

Supported input devices:

• Hardware keyboard
• Mouse

Allow-list URLs

Dragon Copilot requires access to the following URLs; add them to your allow list for outbound communication.

Antivirus scan exclusions

Exclude the following folders and executables from antivirus scans on your client workstations:

• C:\Users\Windows user ID\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Radiance\WindowStates
• C:\Users\Windows user ID\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Radiance\Logs
• DragonCopilotradiology.exe: C:\Users\Windows user ID\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\
