Why would Azure shut down our account because one of our admins used their credit card for services ? No fraud - completely legitimate. Then - because of our support package - they listed the severity (while our business is shut down) as C . This is a complete fricking disaster for us. So we are waiting here for Microsoft to call us back during their business hours while our business is essentially non existent. Help us understadn the all mighty Microsoft - after we spent $15K USD migrating from AWS to Azure. This is the thanks we get - oh and BTW - they'll get back to us during fricking business hours.

IF they list our severity as "C" how the hell do we escalate this so we can get our business back up and operational!!!!!!!

    Switching to AZURE from AWS was the biggest mistake of my tech life.

    Our issue was resolved - but this is my response back to Microsoft ...

    "Thank you all so much for screwing our business and shutting us down all morning. I think Microsoft forgot - that I am the customer. You don't have the right to shut my business down because you couldn't just charge my card whenever you want. ESPECIALLY WHEN I DON'T OWE YOU ANYTHING !!!!! You provide no detail on what you were trying to achieve or why the account was suspended in the first place. You disrupted our business because our card on file was frozen and you couldnt ILLEGITIMATELY charge my card $250 ???? Really - is that reason to shut my business down ???? and made me prove who we are and send you passports and corporate documents ? REALLY ???

    PEOPLE PUT FREEZES ON THEIR CARDS AND BANKS PROVIDE THEM THAT SERVICE EXACTLY FOR THIS REASON !!!! TO BLOCK ILLIGITMATE CHARGES - LIKE THE ONES FROM MICROSOFT !!!

    Microsoft is providing a service to me and my business. I dont answer to Microsoft. I dont work for Microsoft.

    This was literally the biggest tech mistake I had ever made in my life - by me switching from AWS to Microsoft azure. I would leave now if it hadnt cost me so much goddamn money to migrate from AWS to Azure.

    I will never forget this experience, it was so goddamn pleasant - and I will leave as soon as my budget allows me to migrate out of Azure back to AWS. AWS would had never done this to us and make us jump thru these hoops. NEVER. I can't wait to leave Microsoft back to AWS. You possess horrible business practices and treat your customers like they are all on a terrorist watch list.

    I'll give testament to AWS and let them use that in the marketing materials. If you had any real business acumen and really cared about your customers - you would credit our account for thousands of dollars to try to keep our business. All you provided us was an "I'm sorry" oops while I had teams of people around the globe working to see what "Suspicious Activities" were occuring on our platform that would give legitimate reasons for Azure to suspend our service.

    The suspicious activity was - that Azure was trying to charge our card for $250, while we owed NO BALANCE while the card was frozen to protect us from "Suspicious Charges". But Azure found it reasonable to shut us down all morning. All for $250 and caused me thousands to my bottom line.

    Horrible beyond words." UNBELIEVABLE. TRULY UNBELIEVABLE.
