    Hi @Adirath Kura,

Thank you for your detailed information! I really appreciate your taking time and effort to do standard troubleshooting steps!

I have tried to recreate the situation on my Windows 11 device with 2 accounts information tied to Teams desktop app: (They were both signed out)

    User's image

Even with removing everything in Windows Credential in Credential Manager and Quit Teams after as well as Resetting Teams app, the 2 accounts options still showed up in Welcome to Teams page.

As I continue to investigate on this, could you try these steps to check and please kindly let me know if they could remove those accounts information from Teams: Delete Identity and Token Folders

    • Quit Teams completely: Right-click the Teams icon in the system tray > Quit Teams
    • Open Run (Win + R) and run each of the following paths one by one. Kindly delete everything inside each folder:
      • %AppData%\Microsoft\Teams
      • %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Teams
      • %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\OneAuth
      • %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\IdentityCache

To completely remove MS Teams and reinstall it properly

    Restart the App

    • Right-click the Teams icon in your taskbar (Windows)
    • Select Quit

    Remove Old Work Account

    • Go to Windows Settings > Accounts
    • Click Access Work or School
    • Select your old work account and click Disconnect
    • Sign out and sign back in
    • Go to Email & App Accounts
    • Select the old work account and click Remove

    Clear MS Teams Credentials

    • Open Control Panel > User Accounts > Credential Manager
    • Go to Windows Credentials
    • Under Generic Credentials, find and delete:
      • msteams_adalsso/adal_context_segments
      • Any entries related to MicrosoftAccount=User, Teams, or Office
    • Sign out and sign back in again

    Uninstall MS Teams

    Reinstall MS Teams

    Login Instructions

    • Open the MS Teams desktop app
    • Choose "Organization" to log in
    • Uncheck the box that says "Allow my organization to manage my device"

I look forward to your updates. Any further information provided would be much appreciated as I could have more details to investigate on this issue.

Thank you for your kindness and understanding!

Thanks a lot for quick response @Anonymous , i am using windows. I have this problem on two different devices - one with Microsoft Windows 10 Pro and also with Windows Home 11.

As you can see image attached earlier there is no edit button for me, it is same on both laptops. Teams i have uninstalled and installed today again. Tried deleting all cache also. Seems this is pulling from outside teams. Outlook version 1.2025.716.500 also pulling and showing previous accounts. These accounts were used and logged out. Teams version is 25185.410.3812.8024

And also i can see these accounts when logout and login into teams on page of Welcome to Teams

    Dear @Adirath Kura,

Good day! Welcome to Q&A forum!

Please understand that our forum is a public platform, and we will modify your question to cover your organization domain name in the description. Please notice to hide these personal or organization information next time you post error or some information to protect personal data.

Based on your screenshot, it appears you're accessing Teams via the iOS mobile app.

However, to be sure and to understand the situation better, could I confirm the following information:

    • Are you experiencing this issue on a Windows PC, Mac, mobile device, or web browser?
    • What Teams mobile app version are you using? If it is via the iOS mobile app, you could check it by: Click on your profile picture > Choose Settings > About > Teams version
    • When you mention 'seeing previous accounts,' does this occur on the Teams login screen, in Windows account settings, or elsewhere?

Your confirmation would be very helpful!

Regarding your situation, I have tested it on my end, and this is what I see on my Teams via iOS mobile app when it comes to removing accounts from Teams mobile app:

This is the Home Page when I open Teams:

    User's image

When I click on my profile photo on the top left and go to + Add account:

    User's image

I could see accounts that I have logged in before > I choose Edit:

    User's image

Then, I could Edit/Remove accounts there with the Remove button visible:

    User's image

However, that is not the current account that is signed in. To sign out of my current account, I click on my profile photo > go to Settings > Sign out

    User's image

This is my Teams version (Settings > About):

User's image If you’re able to share a bit more about your situation, I might be able to suggest some helpful next steps. Feel free to reach out whenever there’s an update, I’d really appreciate hearing from you!
