Please consider moving the "cancel webinar" button on the Teams webinar page.

This is far too easy to click and cancel the webinar in a rush. It is placed in the upper left, where the side menu for chat, activity, and teams channels are. As an organizer who runs large webinars, I find this to be a very easy spot to accidentally click, and it doesn't appear to have a safety warning message such as "Would you REALLY like to cancel this whole webinar?" From my exploration, I cannot see any way to undo this action when it is done. I would prefer for this to be placed in the "Manage Event" page with a pop-up warning when clicked.

Is anyone else having this issue? Have you found a safety feature to prevent accidental cancellations?

    Hi @Gholson, Renee

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Regarding your issue, I understand how the current placement of the Cancel Event option can lead to accidental clicks, and unfortunately at present there doesn’t appear to be an undo feature once a webinar is canceled.

I agree that having a warning sign saying, "Would you really like to cancel this whole webinar?" or move the button to a less prominent location will help prevent accidental clicks when you're in a rush and try to manage a large Webinar, as Microsoft user I highly recommend submitting your feedback through the Ideas - Community. This allows others to see and upvote your suggestion and helps our product development team better understand user needs and prioritize improvements. The more voices they hear, the greater the chance we’ll see enhancements in future updates.

Or you can also submit feedback directly inside Teams as well by clicking (…) > Feedback > Suggest a feature.
