Reposting my question here as the question got closed out after it was migrated from the previous Microsoft Support Community.

There's still no way to hide a completed sprint from the Sprint board view in Planner.

    Hello @C_A_COM

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Currently, Microsoft Planner does not include a built‑in option to hide completed sprints in the Sprint board to view the Planner interface does not currently provide filtering or visibility controls specifically for sprint containers.

While a direct “hide completed sprints” feature is not available, you might consider these alternatives:

    1. Use task-level filters

You can filter tasks by progress (e.g., show only Not Started or In Progress) to reduce visual clutter on the board. This won’t hide the sprint itself, but it does minimize what’s visible within it.

    1. Organize or consolidate completed work

In some organizations, completed tasks will be moved into a dedicated “Archive” or “Completed” bucket or sprint category to keep the active sprints cleaner. This is similar to how users currently handle buckets, which also cannot be hidden.

In case hiding completed sprints is an important fracture for your workflow, my recommendation is to submitting feedback directly through the Microsoft Planner Feedback Portal by following this article: How do I give feedback on Microsoft 365? - Microsoft Support

Currently, Microsoft Planner does not provide a built-in feature to hide completed sprints from the Sprint board view. Users have expressed the need for this functionality, but as of now, there is no option available to filter or hide completed sprints directly within the Planner interface. You may need to manage visibility through other means, such as organizing tasks or using different views available in Planner.
