How to get previous notification on teams.

Is there a way to pull up previous notifications for teams? Recently I swapped my shift with a colleague. His shift was at from 7 am to 5:30 pm and mine was from 10:30 am to 9:00 pm. The swap was approved. Since last week was checking for the shift change the shift was changed from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm. And I kept checking for it everyday until on the day off the shift changed to 7:00 am to 5:30 and now I am 45 minutes late.

The iphone app even said in the lock screen where the notification pops up saying I have a shift in one hour and that too before 8 :00 am until my supervisor called and said I was supposed to start at 7. Since i clicked on the notification it is gone. Is there a way internally on teams or on iphone I can try to see either which notifications were tapped away or on a desktop where I can see when the shift changes were made from when to when. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi @GNK

In general, Microsoft Teams does not provide end users with a way to review previously dismissed notifications. Once a notification is tapped or cleared on mobile or desktop, it can’t be retrieved later, and there isn’t a notification history view available to reference afterward.

If there’s a need to verify whether a shift was modified, that typically depends on what information is available on the administrative side. An IT administrator may be able to check whether any audit or activity records exist for schedule updates in your environment. Whether those records are available depends on how auditing is configured and whether it was enabled at the time the change was made.

For more details, please refer to: Search the audit log for Shifts events

Search the audit log for events in Microsoft Teams

If no audit entry is found, it usually means one of the following:

    • Auditing was not enabled at the time the change was made, or
    • The specific shift update was not captured by the audit system.

Given these limitations, the most practical next step would be to follow up directly with your IT administrator or the schedule owner and ask them to check what information is available in your tenant. They’ll be in the best position to confirm whether any records exist and provide clarification on how schedule changes are handled in your organization.

I apologize for the inconvenience this have caused you and thank you for your understanding.
