Microsoft is not working on android
Outlook says it's optimizing database, word is fetching files, power point & excel are blank, cleared cached on all apps & uninstalled & reinstalled so I don't what is happening

Mitchell Sepaugh 10 Reputation points2026-04-19T04:21:05.9233333+00:00 I first noticed a problem with Microsoft Authenticator and then started noticing it on Outlook mobile and other apps. I have several problems with that standard, routine suggestion of "just uninstall and reinstall" because this is not just a time suck, it presents a potential security issue. Right now, sites that need MFA via MA to get in give an "I can't use MA right now" link on the pop-up that says "open MA and enter the code shown." Doh!
It'd be funny if it weren't so maddening...

M O'Hare 0 Reputation points2026-04-20T13:48:38.1966667+00:00 I was having the same issue as above. First noticed it on 4/18ish. Uninstalled Outlook app, reinstalled on 4/19, issue remained. I found this thread today and it works.
