It's time for you to be accessible, to help solve the problems created by Windows 11 updates. Your updates have taken up to 16 GB of my computer, and I cannot work. I am an artist and live out of my work!

I am upset as it is the only computer I can have for working at this time.

Plus, my Surface 6 Pro is excellent and has never failed me, until you mess with endless and many unnecessary updates. I need a HUMAN tech support to enter, see, and FIX IT.

I will not be coerced by this absurdity!

Go to Settings → System → Storage

    Click Temporary files

    Select:

    Windows Update Cleanup

Previous Windows installation (if present — this is often 10–20 GB!)

    Click Remove files

    Open Disk Cleanup

    Right-click → Run as administrator

    Select your C: drive

    Click Clean up system files

    Tick:

    Windows Update Cleanup

    Delivery Optimization Files

    Temporary files

    OK → Delete

Go to Settings → Windows Update

Click Pause updates (for 1–5 weeks)

I am not a Microsoft employee, but I am a user and I want to help you recover your space right now so you can get back to work: 1. Deep Cleaning (Where your 16 GB are): Press the Windows + R keys, type cleanmgr and hit Enter. Choose drive C:. Click the "Clean up system files" button (it will recalculate everything). Check the box "Windows Update Cleanup" and "Previous Windows Installations." Click OK. This should free up almost all the space that the update took.
