    Hi @Ziad Yusuf

I hope you are doing well.

Thank you very much for your patience, and I truly appreciate the time and effort you have already put into troubleshooting this issue.

I understand how inconvenient this must be, especially when you have verified the admin settings and Azure configurations. Since you have already gone through the initial troubleshooting steps, the best next step would be to submit a support ticket through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. This issue appears to require a deeper investigation at the backend level.

Once the ticket is created, a technical support engineer will be able to initiate a secure remote session, review backend configurations, run diagnostics, and escalate the case to specialized engineering teams if necessary. These teams are equipped to perform advanced troubleshooting and provide targeted solutions.

As moderators, our role is to offer guidance and general troubleshooting steps. Although we do not have access to administrative tools required for backend fixes, we truly appreciate your understanding of these limitations. We hope the information provided helps point you in the right direction, and we are always here to assist as much as possible within our scope.

For instructions on submitting a support request, please refer to: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn.

I hope you found the answer helpful, and I would greatly appreciate it if you could mark it as accepted. This helps highlight the solution for others who may be searching for similar information in the community. Your contribution not only supports fellow users in finding the right guidance more quickly, but also helps build a more resourceful and collaborative space for everyone.

Thank you for your kindness and contributions to the forum.

The behavior indicates that guest addition is currently blocked by directory settings, even if Teams guest access looks enabled. An admin must fix this in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) so non‑admins can add guests again.

Action steps for the tenant admin:

    1. Enable member guest invitations in Microsoft Entra ID
      1. Sign in to the Azure portal as an administrator.
      2. Go to Microsoft Entra IDUsersUser settings.
      3. Under External collaboration settings, set Members can invite to Yes.
      4. Save the change.
This allows team owners and other non‑admin users to add guests without admin approval.
    2. If guests still cannot be added
      • The admin can add the guest directly in Microsoft Entra ID:
        1. Go to All users in the Microsoft Entra admin center.
        2. Select New guest user and complete the invitation.
      • After the guest account exists in the directory and accepts the invitation, add that guest to the Team again.

If the problem persists even after these steps, the admin should review the full Teams guest access checklist and external collaboration settings, as the tenant may still be blocking guest access at a higher level.
