Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.

It appears that you are encountering a sign-in/authentication error when trying to access Microsoft services. To better understand the issue, could you please clarify the following:
- Does the issue occur when accessing Microsoft services through a web browser or across all Microsoft apps (Teams, Outlook, Office, etc.) or only within a specific application?
- Is this a personal or work/school account?
- Confirm whether the Microsoft 365 license assigned to the account is active.
- Are you signed into Windows using the same work account or a different/personal account?
- Does the same issue occur when signing into the account from another device?
In the meantime, please try the troubleshooting steps below:
- Sign out of all Microsoft accounts - Sign out completely from all Microsoft accounts. - Close all Office applications completely (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
- If the issue occurs in a web browser:
- Clear the browser cache and cookies.
- Try using an InPrivate/Incognito window.
- Reconnect the work account from Windows
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Access work or school.
- Select your work account.
- Click Disconnect.
- Restart your computer
- Sign in to the account again.
4. Clear Cached Credentials and Identity Data
- Ensure all Office applications are closed.
- Open File Explorer and navigate to the following folders (one at a time):
%localappdata%\Microsoft\OneAuth
%localappdata%\Microsoft\IdentityCache
%localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin_cw5n1h2txyewy
- Delete the contents inside these folders.
- Remove Old Credentials
Open Control Panel
Go to Credential Manager
Select Windows Credentials
Remove entries related to:
- MicrosoftOffice
- ADAL
- AzureAD
- Office 365
Restart the computer and try signing in again.
- Clear Cached Credentials in the Registry
- Press Windows + R, type regedit, and press Enter
- Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\
- Look for folders/names matching your old work account and delete them
