My system will not direct me to any chat support

I suspect something is wrong with my installation of Windows 11. I have no ability to get to chat support. All I'm trying to do is close an existing case. I'm getting instructions from co-pilot. Most of the time, it tells me I'm not in the location. Several different attempts at logging into my account place me at a location with a left-navigation which co-pilot tells me is incorrect. I need a top level navigation. 5 more attempts through Edge and Google, I finally get to the top level navigation in an incognito google window. I'm then instructed to change URL to : https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus?ws=apps. I get there and select Microsoft 365, followed by "Get Home Support". I verify I am logged in. It asks me to describe my problem. I've tried "Close my support case" and "I need help with an existing support request", as suggested by co-pilot. Nothing helps. I tried Chat support but no link to chat support. I installed the get Help app. In the drop down I select Microsoft 365 and Office. For category, I select Technical support and click Confirm. It shows email, I click OK and it says it's creating a request, only to return with "Please try again". I repeat steps and oddly, my case that I want to close shows up. But no option to close. It just keeps saying an agent will call me, but no phone number is listed. So they're not going to call. I'm so frustrated --- not really with Microsoft --- with my laptop because I do think something may be wrong.

    Hello Terri Baldwin,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Before we proceed, may I know more details about your installation issue? I can try to see what I can help you here.

If you still want to contact chat support, you can try to follow these steps to see if it helps.

    • Go to Microsoft Support page.
    • Type Live chat in the search box.
    • Now click Get help, and Select Contact Support or Sign in to contact support below.
    • Go to the Products and services tab, and choose Other products
    • On the Category tab, choose Billing and Account Profile questions
    • Go to Confirm.
    • You can now choose the option of Chat with a support agent on your web browser.

    I'm waiting for your reply.

All information that was posted by QA assist are the same that co-pilot sent to me, which didn't work.
