When is Microsoft going to have the New Outlook support basic formatting in a proper wayLike VERY SIMPLE stuff, like full support for text transformation (e.g., Upper- and lowercase), simple table formatting (e.g., alignment of elements in a table or nested tables with different alignments), etc.?It is really problematic to switch to the new Outlook and keep corporate brand and guidelines.

    Hi @Jesper Egon Jensen

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Regarding the New Outlook experience, I would like to ask a few clarifying questions to better understand your scenario and assist you more effectively.

    • Could you please confirm which version of New Outlook you are currently using?
    • Are the formatting features you mentioned (such as text case transformation and table alignment) similar to those shown in the image below?  User's image User's image User's image
    • Do these formatting options appear in your Outlook interface?
      • If so, are they available for use, or do they appear greyed out?
      • If not, are they completely missing from the ribbon?
    • Finally, does this behavior affect only your account, or are other users in your organization experiencing the same issue?

Thank you for your time and understanding. While this initial response may not resolve the issue immediately, gathering this information will help determine whether this is a feature limitation, configuration issue, or an organizational setting affecting formatting capabilities in the New Outlook.

I appreciate your patience and look forward to your reply.
