I can see that you mentioned "Outlook program" but the tag is in Outlook.com. Could you confirm which type of Outlook you’re using: Classic Outlook, New Outlook, or Outlook on the web (Outlook.com)?
In the meantime, here are a few quick checks you can try:
- In Inbox, set Filter = All and (if available) check both Focused and Other.
- Check Junk Email, Deleted Items, and Archive in case messages were moved.
- If you’re using Outlook on the web, go to Settings > Mail > Rules and review any rule/Sweep that could be moving or deleting messages.
- If you’re using Classic Outlook on Windows and emails only appear via Search: close Outlook, run Outlook.exe /cleanips; if needed, Inbox > Properties > Clear Offline Items, then press Shift+F9 to resync.
Also, please let me know whether the missing emails are visible in Outlook on the web—this helps confirm if it’s a client display/sync issue or mailbox-side rule/filtering.
