Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

First, make sure your system is fully updated: Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates.

Install all available updates from there and restart your PC when prompted.

    If the issue still persists.

Do you have a VPN enabled? If so, try disabling it temporarily and see if that makes a difference. You can check by going to Settings > Network & Internet > VPN or looking for a VPN app running in the background.

In the meantime, if you haven’t already already:

Forget and reconnect to your Wi-Fi network:

    • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Manage known networks.
    • Find your current Wi-Fi network and click "Forget" next to it.
    • Restart your main router/modem, then reconnect to the Wi-Fi and enter the password again.

    Flush the DNS cache:

    • Press Start and search for CMD.
    • Right-click on Command Prompt and select “Run as administrator”.
    • In the Command Prompt, type the following commands one by one, pressing Enter after each and wait:

    ipconfig /flushdns

    ipconfig /release

    ipconfig /renew

    netsh winsock reset

    • Restart your PC and check if the issue persists.

Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Regards,

    John J.D.

Follow these steps in order, testing OneDrive sign-in after each step:

    1. Confirm the account and password
    2. Make sure OneDrive is up to date
      • If using the sync app on Windows, install the latest version from the official download page: Download.
      • Then restart the PC and try signing in again from the OneDrive icon.
    3. Check basic connectivity from Windows
      • On the Windows lock screen or taskbar, verify the device is actually online (Wi‑Fi or Ethernet connected). If possible, test with a different network (for example, mobile hotspot) to rule out local network issues.
      • If other apps work but OneDrive still reports no internet, continue with the next steps.
    4. Check firewall / VPN / ISP blocking
      • If a VPN is enabled, temporarily disconnect it and try OneDrive sign-in again.
      • If a third‑party firewall or security suite is installed, temporarily disable it and test.
      • If OneDrive works only when using a different network (for example, mobile hotspot), contact the internet provider and verify they allow access to Microsoft 365 services. Required endpoints are documented here: Required URLs and ports for OneDrive.
    5. Restart OneDrive and sign in again
      • Select the grayed‑out OneDrive icon (or the one with a line through it) in the notification area.
      • In the “Set up OneDrive” window, enter the email address and password for the Microsoft account (for personal OneDrive) or work/school account as appropriate.
      • If it is a work or school account and sign-in still fails, reset the password using the organization’s process or contact the organization’s IT admin.
    6. If using Windows 10/11 and Microsoft apps also say “no internet”
      • Check Windows Update for any pending updates and install them, as some recent updates have fixed Microsoft account sign-in issues across apps.
      • After updates and restart, try OneDrive sign-in again.

If none of these steps work and the account signs in fine in a browser but not in the OneDrive app, collect any exact error codes shown and contact Microsoft support with those details.
