From your post, I understand you’d like to move an email from “Focused” to “Other” in the new Outlook.
In addition to Q&A Assist, here are a couple of alternative ways you can manage Focused vs Other (in case the menu option is not obvious or you prefer a different workflow):
1, Drag and drop
- Open your Inbox and show both “Focused” and “Other” tabs
- Simply drag the email from “Focused” to “Other” (or vice versa)
- Outlook may prompt you to apply the same rule for future emails
2, Disable Focused Inbox (if you don’t want separation at all)
If you prefer seeing all emails together, go to Settings > Mail > Layout > Focus Inbox > choose "Don't sort my messages" then click save so email don't get sorted in Focused or Other tab
This will merge both “Focused” and “Other” into a single Inbox.
Please feel free to let me know how it goes so I can assist you further. Thank you for your understanding.
