    Hi,

    Please try this.

    Via https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/4375923/(article)-reset-the-onedrive-sync-client?forum=msoffice-all&referrer=answers

Click the Windows symbol + R  and type "regedit"

If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

      1. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\Onedrive\Account

Delete Business 1 (and all Business) keys.

    1. Then Run (Windows Key+R)
    •  %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\OneDrive.exe /reset
    •  %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\Settings
    • Delete all folders in "Settings“

    Then Start OneDrive again

I’m eager to hear back and work together to find a solution.

Try these steps on the second laptop to resolve the OneDrive sign-in issue:

    1. Confirm the account and password
      • Open a browser and sign in to the Microsoft account dashboard to confirm the username and password work.
      • If the password or username is forgotten, use the Microsoft account sign-in helper: Sign-in helper.
    2. Check the OneDrive app status
      • On Windows, select the OneDrive cloud icon in the taskbar notification area.
      • If the icon is gray with a line through it, select it and complete the “Set up OneDrive” screen with the email and password.
    3. Verify internet and firewall/VPN
      • If sign-in spins but never completes, temporarily disconnect from any VPN.
      • Test with another network (for example, use a mobile hotspot) to see if the current internet provider or firewall is blocking OneDrive.
      • If it works on another network, contact the internet provider or adjust firewall rules as described in “Required URLs and ports for OneDrive.”
    4. Clear cached credentials (if the account worked before on this device)
      • Press Windows key + R, type %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\settings and select OK.
      • Delete the PreSignInSettingsConfig.json file.
      • Start OneDrive again and sign in.
    5. Ensure OneDrive is up to date / reinstall
      • If OneDrive is missing or outdated, download and install the latest version from the OneDrive download page.
      • After installation, open OneDrive, then sign in with the same account used on the first laptop.

If the problem persists and a specific error code appears (such as 0x8004de80, 0x8004de86, 0x8004de85, or 0x8004de8a), unlinking and relinking the account or reinstalling OneDrive as described above is the recommended path.
