Hello Sue, good day and thanks for your question. Please take note that, you cannot transfer an existing Microsoft 365 subscription from one Microsoft account to another. If you do not use the email that is associated with the Microsoft account, are you also not able to access Microsoft account as well?

To resolve both the email-address issue and get a copy of the last paid invoice, use the Microsoft account and billing tools tied to the subscription.

    1. Verify and access the correct Microsoft account
    • Go to the Microsoft account Services & subscriptions page: https://account.microsoft.com/services
    • Sign in with the Microsoft account that actually owns the Microsoft 365 subscription (this may be the old email address if that is what was originally used).
    • If sign-in is a problem because the email is old, use the Sign-in Helper to recover access to the account: Sign-in Helper.
    1. Get a copy of the last paid invoice
    • Once signed in to the correct account, on the Services & subscriptions page select the Microsoft 365 subscription.
    • Use the billing/management options there to download invoices for previous charges. (For Clipchamp and other subscriptions tied to Microsoft 365, invoices are also available from this same page.)
    1. Update billing email / account details
    • On the Services & subscriptions page, use the subscription’s Manage or Manage subscription link.
    • From there, update billing information such as name, email, and address as needed so future renewal emails and billing notices go to the current email address.
    1. If invoices still cannot be accessed
    • For other help with Microsoft account and subscriptions, including billing and invoice issues, go to Account & Billing Help: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2189071.
    • If self-help does not resolve it, use the support/contact options there to reach Microsoft Support and request the invoice and help with updating contact details.
