Dear @Angel Stewart,
I hope you’re having a good day.
Thank you for taking the time to explain what you’re seeing.
From what you’ve described, this doesn’t appear to be the attachment actually being removed from the email. The fact that you still see the paperclip icon and that your colleagues can reopen the same email and still access the attachment strongly suggests that the file is still there, but your Outlook on the web session isn’t properly displaying it after you’ve opened it once.
In most cases, this kind of behavior is related to how the browser is caching or rendering the message rather than any change to the email itself. Outlook on the web loads attachments dynamically, so if something in the session doesn’t refresh correctly, it can look like the attachment has “disappeared” even though it hasn’t.
A quick way to confirm this is to try a few simple checks: refresh the page after opening the attachment, or sign out of Outlook on the web and sign back in.
If the attachment shows up again after doing that, it’s very likely just a temporary session or caching issue.
You can also try opening the same email in a different browser or using a private/incognito (press Ctrl + Shift + N) window, this helps rule out anything specific to your current browser profile or extensions.
I’m hopeful that one of these quick checks will restore the normal behavior for you.
If you continue to see the same issue even in a different browser or private session, feel free to share a bit more detail about your environment (browser type/version, whether it happens with all emails or just certain ones), and I’ll be happy to help you look into it further.
Please understand that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.
Looking forward to hearing back from you with any updates or additional details.
Warm regards,
