I understand how frustrating it is when many folders suddenly appear empty. To narrow this down in the right direction (recovery due to deletion/move vs. a display/sync issue), could you please share two quick details:
- Is this email address an Outlook/Hotmail (Microsoft) account, or a Gmail/ISP email (IMAP) account that’s been added to Outlook?
- When you sign in to webmail (Outlook.com/Outlook on the web, or your email provider’s website), can you still see the “missing” emails there, or is it also empty on the web?
