Onedrive is not syncing due to "Not enough Cloud Storage" but my cloud storage is at 9%

My Onedrive won't sync and is giving this error message:

However, when I check my account I have only used 9% of my storage. See screenshot below:

I've done the following to try and troubleshoot:

  1. Shut down my computer and restarted
  2. Disconnected my onedrive account and re-connected it
  3. Found a command using AI that reset OneDrive
  4. Checked that my hard-drive has space - it has about 280GB free

I have no idea how to fix this and who to talk to, so I hope I'm in the right place.

Thanks,
Rich

    Hi!

In the OneDrive message, click on See 7 items and see which items are not syncing. Also, copy any file from your PC to OneDrive and see if it syncs. Perhaps only those files are not syncing.

    • Also check if the accounts are the same. Remember that Gmail accounts, even when linked to OneDrive, are different from @outlook.com and @hotmail.com accounts, even if the email addresses have the same name.
    • Try reinstalling OneDrive with Revo Uninstaller instead of resetting it. Revo removes all traces of the app.
    1. Download Revo:

    1. Install and open Revo > Find for OneDrive > Double-click on it > Click “Continue'' > Follow the steps of the program to uninstall it.
    2. After uninstalling the program, go back to Revo > In Uninstall Mode, select ''Advanced'' > Click on ''Check”.
    3. Revo will look for any remnants of the program files and logs when it is uninstalled. Select all of them and delete them, then continue until you’re done.
    4. Restart your computer > Download, install, and sync your account with OneDrive.
