    Hi Michele R. Loughrey Tschida

From your post, I understand how concerning it is when emails suddenly go missing from a specific date.

Have you tried the Q&A Assist suggestions under your post? If so, what you found?

Also, could you please let me know:

    • Were you able to open “Recover items deleted from this folder”, and did it show any messages at all?
    • Or is that list empty/unavailable on your side?

That detail helps determine what’s still recoverable.

In addition, there are a few additional things worth checking:

    1, Double-check Outlook web

    • Sign in to Outlook on the web
    • Double-check all folders (Inbox, Junk Email, Deleted Items, Archive), ensure your inbox filter is set to All (not “Unread” or another filter).
    • Check Focused / Other tab (if Focused Inbox is enabled), emails may land in Other. You can also temporarily turn Focused Inbox off to test.

    2, Check for hidden rules/forwarding

In Outlook on the web's settings, go to:

    • Settings > Mail > Rules/ Sweep: delete any suspicious rules you did not create (especially rules that moves/deletes mail)
    • Settings > Mail > Forwarding: make sure nothing is forwarding

3, If you prefer to contact Microsoft Support directly, you can do so here:

    • Sign in with your personal account at:  Contact Us - Microsoft Support
    • Select the product or service you're having issue with. (For example: Microsoft Office)

    User's image

    • Click Get Home Support

    User's image

    • Type a brief description of your issue in the search box.
    • Click Get Help and Select Contact Support below.

    User's image

    • Go to the Products and services tab, and choose either Microsoft 365 and Office category or Other Products
    • On the Category tab, choose Manage My Subscription or other alternatives.
    • Go to Confirm.

    • Look for and select "Chat with a support agent in your web browser" (during business hours). Explain your situation clearly.

́Please kindly note that this is a public user-to-user forum, I do not have the ability, tools nor further access to the said product. Please follow the steps above to reach out to a live chat agent for further support if my answer did not solve the issue that you're currently having.

For reference, you can see: Recover and restore deleted items in Outlook

Please feel free to let me know how it goes. I truly appreciate your time and understanding.

Phone support or callbacks cannot be provided here, but the missing mail issue can be started on the web.

For Outlook.com mail missing since 2/2026, follow these steps:

    1. Check Junk Email
      • Sign in to Outlook.com.
      • Open the Junk Email folder.
      • If expected messages are there, select them and choose Not junk > Not junk (or Move to Inbox in the mobile apps).
      • Note: Messages are automatically removed from Junk after 30 days and are not recoverable.
    2. Check blocked senders
      • In Outlook.com, select Settings > Options or Mail.
      • Go to Blocked senders or Block and allow.
      • If any missing senders or their domains (for example, @hotmail.com) appear there, select them and remove them from the list.
    3. Check for rules or other apps moving mail
      • Rules or another email app can move or delete messages.
      • If another app or add-in is connected to the mailbox, sign out of it or disable it temporarily and check Outlook.com again.
      • Certain Firefox add-ons can prevent the inbox from loading; if using Firefox, disable add-ons per Firefox support.
    4. Confirm the account is still active
      • If there has been no sign-in to Outlook.com for at least one year, the mailbox may have been closed and all email deleted.
      • The Microsoft account itself is closed after two years of no sign-in, per the Microsoft Services Agreement.
    5. If mail is still missing
      • Use Outlook.com in a browser.
      • Select Help on the menu bar and enter the issue (for example, “Missing email since Feb 2026”).
      • If self-help does not resolve it, scroll down to Still need help? and select Yes to contact Outlook.com support.
      • If sign-in is not possible, use the dedicated link for sign-in issues provided in the article.
