I returned a surface laptop for a full refund. The 4 year warranty plan associated with that laptop was not refunded. I can't figure out how to cancel and get a refund on the warranty plan?

The warranty plan (like Microsoft Complete) is treated as a separate item, so it often doesn’t auto-refund when you return the laptop.

Kindly go through the following Microsoft reference article:

Get an exchange or refund on devices bought from Microsoft

The fix is just opening Help & Support → Contact support → Billing and asking them to delete the leftover warranty record. I think the system keeps it because the old Complete‑record doesn’t unhook after a refund.
