Unrecognized recurring $7.53 business subscription charge (MICROSOFT #[Moderator note: personal info removed]) since July 2024 - not a business user

I have been charged $7.53 every month since July 2024 (now 22 months total) with the reference MICROSOFT#[Moderator note: personal info removed]. This appears as a commercial/business subscription.

I only have a legitimate Microsoft 365 Family plan that I pay for annually. I have never signed up for, used, or administered any Microsoft 365 Business / commercial subscription. I have no admin access to any business tenant.

When I contact support:

  • Agents say it is a "business subscription" and redirect me to the business team.
  • Calls to business support immediately drop.
  • I have wasted many hours on this runaround and recently hit my daily call limit.

I need this unauthorized subscription cancelled, all past charges refunded (22 months), and my credit card (ending in 4011) removed from the account.

Has anyone else faced this issue? How can I get this resolved without being stuck in the business support loop?

I think that 7.53$ is just u’r card caught on a dead commercial‑tenant’s orphan billing‑hook; contact Microsoft 365 Billing Support with the card last‑4 so they can manual‑detach it…just grab the digits from your billing page.
