How to check if files saved to Onedrive

I’m locked out of my personal laptop since the Windows 11 update and the (only) bitlocker key associated with my device is not working so looks like only option is to reinstall.

Is there a way I can check if my files have automatically saved to Onedrive?

    Hi, I'm John!

The best way to check is to sign in to your OneDrive online here: https://onedrive.live.com If your files are there, then they were synced successfully.

Also, if you remember your files being saved inside the Documents, Desktop, or Pictures folders with a green check mark icon, that usually means they were syncing to OneDrive.

I think just sign into onedrive.com w/ the same acct and see if ur Desktop/Docs show there; if they’re not listed, that device never synced anything.
