How do I remove a microsoft 365 email account from my desktop outlook.

I want to remove an old email from my Outlook. But it does not give me the option to remove the account via the settings; I cannot 1) work out how to do it and 2) find anywhere to offer some valuable advice to do so. This is an account I do not have access to; it was created through GoDaddy, linked to a website I had, but it is now inactive. User's image

i would ask if this is your primary mail ? 2. do you have any other email besides from this one in your Outlook profile? 3. I would suggest you create a new outlook profile with the new email you want to use

Hi! Let me help you.

Open Settings on the Start Menu, go to Accounts, Your Accounts, and then look for the old email you need to remove and click the down arrow to expand and remove the old account.
