Hi,

My One Note pages are not distributing, they are saying that they are waiting to distribute, it has been over 24 hours now that this is still occurring.

Could you please advise how to fix.

Kind regards,

    Dear @Monique Nutt

Since your OneNote pages have been stuck on waiting to distribute for more than 24 hours, I recommend you try these troubleshooting steps following the Microsoft Official Guide here: Fix slow sync times and delays when distributing pages in Class Notebook

    • Ensure the Class Notebook is fully synced by opening OneNote and selecting Sync Notebook Now.
    • Create a new blank test page (reduce or without attachments, PDFs, or large images) and try again
    • Test the distribution from a different platform, such as OneNote Desktop, OneNote on the web, or Teams.

If the issue persists after you’ve already tried across OneNote Desktop, the web version, and Teams, and even tested with multiple Class Notebooks, but all distribution jobs are stuck, it may require investigation by your school's Microsoft 365 administrator, as page distribution relies on backend Class Notebook services.

In that case, I recommend contacting your school IT administrator and asking them to open a support request with Microsoft for further investigation. If you do not know who your school IT admin is, please refer to How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin?

Once a ticket is created, a Microsoft support engineer can take a closer look at your environment, check backend processes, and run more advanced diagnostics. If needed, they can also escalate it to a specialized team for further investigation.

Please understand that as a forum moderator, my role is to provide general guidance and troubleshooting support. I don’t have access to internal systems or backend tools, and I appreciate your understanding of these limits.

I hope the information shared helps point you in the right direction. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I'm looking forward to your update.
