Hello,
What’s happening is that your default printer is currently set to “Microsoft Print to PDF,” so every time you hit Print, the job is routed to a PDF file instead of your HP Envy Inspire 7900e. To fix this, you need to change the default printer setting in Windows.
Open Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners. Locate your HP Envy Inspire 7900e in the list, click on it, and select Set as default. Once that’s done, when you press Print in any application, the job will go directly to your HP printer instead of generating a PDF.
If you’re printing from a specific program and it still defaults to PDF, check the print dialog box itself. In most applications, when you press Ctrl+P or choose Print, you’ll see a drop-down list of available printers. Make sure to select “HP Envy Inspire 7900e” instead of “Microsoft Print to PDF.” After you select it once, many applications will remember that choice for future print jobs.
I hope you've found something useful here. If it helps you get more insight into the issue, it's appreciated to accept the answer. Should you have more questions, feel free to leave a message. Have a nice day!
HP.
