This forum is just a user to user forum, for account security and to protect users, no-one here has any account access, if you are sure no-one else has access to your banking details, using any Microsoft account you may have, try using the steps they provide on this link to find out what that second payment was for.

Then use the steps they provide on this link to cancel whatever that second payment was for and get a refund.

If you are still unable to resolve that second payment problem, you will need to contact Microsoft Support directly, try using this method to contact their support.

    Go to this link: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus

    Select Microsoft 365

    Click 'Get Home Support'.

In the box provided, type billing.

Press Enter, then on the next page, scroll down and click 'Sign in to Contact Support'.

Navigate to Microsoft 365 and Office - Manage my Subscription.

Select the 'Chat with support agent in web browser' option

This usually happens for one of these reasons:

    1. The same subscription was purchased through two different sources.
      • If one subscription was bought from a third-party retailer such as Amazon, Google Play, or Apple App Store, that billing must be managed with that seller.
    2. A second Microsoft account is using the other credit card.
    3. A previously declined charge was retried successfully.
    4. Recurring billing is enabled on a subscription.

To find the missing billing and identify which account it belongs to:

    1. Review Microsoft order history and look for purchases with the same amount close together.
    2. If the charge does not appear in that account, go to Microsoft account Payment options and select Investigate.
    3. Check whether recurring billing is turned on for an existing subscription.
    4. Check whether the subscription was bought from a third party instead of directly from Microsoft.
      • If it was, cancellation and refund must be handled with that retailer.
    5. If the charge is still not recognized, contact the bank or payment provider immediately to prevent more charges. Tell them the card may be compromised.

If cancellation is not available in the Microsoft subscription page, common checks are:

    1. Confirm the correct Microsoft personal account is signed in.
    2. Check whether the page shows Turn on recurring billing instead of Cancel. If it does, the subscription is already set to expire and no further cancellation is needed.
    3. Check whether there is an overdue balance or an expired payment card, because that can block cancellation.

If the charge still cannot be matched to any Microsoft account, use Microsoft Support from Contact Microsoft Support and choose billing help.
