    Hi Barry Dimond,

I see that an AI Answer has already provided several troubleshooting steps. Before trying anything different, I'd like to check whether you've had a chance to go through those suggestions and how they worked out.

If the issue persists, could you check whether your laptop is able to discover or pair with any other Bluetooth device, such as a phone, mouse or keyboard? This will help determine whether the issue is specific to the earbuds or related to the laptop's Bluetooth functionality.

You can also open Device Manager, expand Bluetooth and check whether the Bluetooth adapter is present and free of any warning icons. If you notice anything unusual, please let me know.

Additionally, it would be helpful to know whether the earbuds can successfully pair with another device, such as a phone or tablet.

Finally, please press Win + R, type winver and share the Windows version and OS build displayed in the window so I can tailor the next troubleshooting steps accordingly.

I look forward to your update.

    1. Make sure the earbuds are actually in pairing mode and discoverable. For earbuds, this often requires opening the case lid or using the pairing button on the case. If needed, check the manufacturer’s instructions.
    2. On the laptop, open Bluetooth pairing:
      • Select the Network, Sound, or Battery icon on the taskbar.
      • Select Manage Bluetooth devices on the Bluetooth quick setting.
      • Look under New devices.
    3. If preferred, use Settings instead:
      • Start > Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices
      • Select Add Bluetooth or other device > Bluetooth
      • Wait for the earbuds to appear, then select them and finish pairing.
    4. If the earbuds still do not appear:
      • Make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
      • Make sure Airplane mode is off.
      • Try turning Bluetooth off and back on.
      • Remove the device and pair it again if it was previously listed.
    5. If the earbuds support Swift Pair, a notification can appear automatically when they are nearby and in pairing mode. If that notification appears, select Connect.

If the earbuds are not shown in the list, the Bluetooth discovery setting might need to be set to Advanced.
