Depending on the type of mobile phone contract you have, you may be able to find the phone information such as model number and serial number directly from your mobile phone network provider. They may also have tools that will allow you to lock your phone.

Alternatively, all Samsung phones run on Android. This means you can sign into your Google account here: https://myaccount.google.com/find-your-phone

Once you are signed into your account, please click onto your phone, from the list of phones or tablets that are listed (These will be running Android). It will allow you to see where it was/is, mark it as lost or factory reset your device.

If you click onto the gear icon above your phone

This will provide you with your device settings such as the model name, SM, IMEI and when it was first registered. You would be able to forward this information to your police department and mobile operator.

If you are wanting information deleting off the phone, please factory reset the phone. Using this option will factory reset the phone when the phone next connects to the internet. Please be aware, however, that anything deleted can be recovered if the people who stole your phone have the software to extract deleted data.
